Job summary

Landstown Dental Care is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our team. This full-time position runs Tuesday through Friday, 6:30am to 3:30pm, with a salary range of $22-$26 per hour based on experience and benefits.

Must be X-ray certified and able to assist chairside, use Dentrix, take x-rays with iTero, and maintain patient education and safety. The Heartland Dental network supports doctors across the nation.

Qualifications

• X-ray certification as required by state law
• Experience in fast-paced, patient-focused environments
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Knowledge of Dentrix software and dental terminology

Responsibilities

• Greet and educate patients at the start of treatment
• Review health history to ensure quality care
• Take and process x-rays and assessments (iTero 3D, digital photography)
• Provide chairside assistance (four-handed dentistry)
• Use Dentrix for scheduling and records management
• Prepare treatment rooms with OSHA/CDC safety protocols
• Manage supplies and place orders as needed
• Collaborate with providers to maximize office workflow
