Heartland Dental is seeking a Part-Time Dental Assistant for the Patchogue area. The role supports patient care with chairside assistance, imaging, and patient education.

Flexible, part-time schedule includes Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 9:45am to 7pm, with compensation based on experience. Ideal candidates have dental assistant and x-ray certifications and demonstrate strong patient service, communication, and HIPAA compliance.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology.
• Experience in a fast-paced, customer-centric environment.
• If required by state law, dental assistant and/or x-ray certification.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet and welcome patients and educate them throughout treatment.
• Review health history to support high-quality care.
• Take and process x-rays and diagnostic assessments.
• Provide chairside assistance to dentists and maintain safety.
