Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Technical/DA program or 6 months experience as dental assistant.
• Idaho DA license or ability to obtain license.
• Expanded duty certification preferred; if not held, must obtain in first year.
• X-ray certification preferred.
• TB screening and CPR certification required.
• Ability to obtain a security clearance (drug screen and background).

Responsibilities

• Assist the Dentist and/or Dental Hygienist chairside.
• Prepare and sterilize dental instruments.
• Prepare and maintain the dental operatory.
• Operate radiographic equipment.
• Perform additional administrative tasks as needed.
