Piggly Wiggly Midwest LLC in Wisconsin is seeking a part-time Relief Driver to operate tractors with trailers up to 53' and deliver to stores, while adhering to company and DOT regulations.

The role includes loading and unloading, averaging 3–10 stops per day, regular inspections, and maintaining safety standards. Weekend/Mon-Fri schedule option with a 34.15/hr pay rate.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL and DOT certification.

• Ability to load/unload and deliver to stores with 3–10 stops per day.

Responsibilities

• Operate a CMV (semi-truck or box truck) per training and FMCSA rules.
• Load and unload ambient or temperature sensitive product.
• Inspect equipment and ensure it is operable per regulations.
• Travel to deliver to customer locations.

Position Overview

The Relief Driver position requires driving tractors with trailers up to 53' in length to deliver goods to stores and meeting all company policies and delivery schedules as well as DOT rules and regulations. This position also requires working in the warehouse while meeting warehouse standards and developing good working relationships with stores and/or company personnel.

Description

• Utilizing the specialized skills developed with experience and the C&S Professional Driver Training Program, you will operate a Commercial Motor Vehicle (semi-truck/eighteen-wheeler/box truck, etc), applying knowledge of training and commercial driving regulations, to transport and safely deliver product

• Driver will load and unload (ambient or temperature sensitive) product to customers on an average of 3-10 stops per day

• Driver will inspect, document and ensure equipment is operable in compliance with all regulatory and company requirements

• Inspect equipment in accordance with regulatory requirements
