Job summary

SpartanNash in Byron Center, Michigan is seeking a part-time Deli Associate to prepare, label, and stock deli products, and to support daily merchandising and guest experience guidelines.

You will work independently, follow safety and food safety requirements, communicate recipes and weights to teammates, and assist with ordering and backroom organization. High school diploma preferred; retail experience helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma (GED) preferred.
• One year of retail or related experience preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and Produce Deli Products to Production Planner.
• Package and Label Deli Products per program plan.
• Merchandise Deli Products per Flight plan/Merchandising Expectations.
• Stock Backroom with Deli Products – Rotating and Dating Cases/Buckets.
• Work as a team with other departments and Stores to achieve growth in our SpartanNash Retail stores.
• Notify the Deli Manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
