Job summary

RoShay Services in Detroit, MI is seeking a Deli Associate responsible for independently preparing, packaging, displaying, and stocking deli products to support store profitability and customer satisfaction.

You will bake, fry, and prepare items, price and wrap deli products, rotate shelves, and assist in stocking. Strong reading/writing, basic math, and organizational skills are essential; high school diploma preferred.

• Price, date, wrap, and bag deli products.
• Maintain, rotate, inspect, and merchandise deli shelves and displays.
• Notify management of supply needs and assist in receiving and stocking merchandise.
• Ensure product knowledge, handle spoiled/damaged items, and uphold cleanliness and safety standards.
• Follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks in other departments as needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• High school diploma preferred.
• Experience in retail or related fields is a plus.
• Ability to read, write, interpret documents, and perform basic math.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Physical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 30 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally, stand and walk for extended periods, and work in varied temperatures and environments.
