Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate to take excellent care of our customers by meeting their needs and exceeding expectations. You will perform duties including preparing, processing, packaging, stocking products, and providing friendly service in the Fresh Foods section.

You'll need basic English literacy, a high school diploma or GED, and a willingness to train and work with the team to boost customer satisfaction and sales.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education/experience.
• Ability to read and write in English and communicate clearly.
• Willingness to participate in required training and work with the team to improve customer satisfaction and sales.
• Physical ability to stand, lift up to 30 pounds (up to 50 pounds occasionally).
• Must be at least 18 years old and able to comply with company training on safety and sanitation.

Responsibilities

• Take excellent care of customers by meeting their needs and exceeding expectations.
• Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
• Provide customer service and maintain clean work areas.
• Unload stock and reload salvage products as required.
• Assist with general warehouse duties and maintain safety standards.
