Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate to take excellent care of our customers, meeting their needs and exceeding expectations. The role requires basic product knowledge, food preparation and sales ability within Fresh Foods standards.

Responsibilities include stocking, cleaning, and assisting with unloading and salvaging products. Candidates must be at least 18 and able to read/write English; experience in customer service is helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read, write and comprehend English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Strong customer service orientation and team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Take Excellent Care Of Our Customers by satisfying each customer’s needs and exceeding expectations.
• Prepare, process, package and stock products per Fresh Foods standards.
• Provide customer service and maintain clean work areas.
• Assist unloading stock and reloading salvage products per standards.
