Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate focused on delivering exceptional customer service and knowledge of products. The role includes assisting customers, stocking and preparing products according to Fresh Foods Standards, and maintaining clean work areas in a fast-paced store environment.

Applicants should be at least 18 years old, have a high school diploma or GED (or equivalent experience), and be able to read, write, and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Ability to read, write and present information in English.
• Math skills: add/subtract money and weight measurements in US units.
• Willingness to participate in required training and work with team to increase satisfaction and sales.
• Complete company training including food sanitation, customer service network, safety, and product knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Take excellent care of customers by satisfying their needs and exceeding expectations.
• Prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
• Provide customer service, maintain clean work areas, unload stock and reload salvage products.
