Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time associate to help take excellent care of customers by meeting their needs and surpassing expectations. The role requires strong product knowledge, food preparation skills, sales ability, and teamwork.

The associate will prepare, process, package, and stock products according to Fresh Foods Standards while delivering friendly customer service, maintaining clean workspaces, unloading stock, and reloading salvage items as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and write in English, with clear communication.
• Basic math skills for money calculations and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Take excellent care of customers by satisfying needs and exceeding expectations.
• Process, stock, and package products according to Fresh Foods Standards.
• Provide customer service, clean work areas, unload stock and reload salvage products.
