Job summary

Carroll School is seeking a part-time Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Curriculum Coordinator to advance inclusive programming and equitable practices across the school community. You will collaborate with academic leaders, educators, students, and families to integrate DEIB principles into curriculum design and classroom practice.

The role reports to the Upper School Division Head and partners with the Senior Academic Leadership Team to support DEIB across lower, middle, and upper

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership experience and knowledge in DEIB within a school context.
• Strong communication and organizational skills with a student-centered approach.
• Experience designing curriculum and building staff capacity in DEIB topics for ages 6–15.

Responsibilities

• Partner with academic leaders to institutionalize inclusive programming and standards-based curricula mapping.
• Lead DEIB coordinators in implementing DEIB curricula and programming.
• Collaborate with educators to provide academic, emotional, and social support for students and families.
• Provide resources to educators for integrating diverse concepts, texts, and perspectives into teaching.
• Create a coherent schedule of DEIB programming for students and families (heritage months, SEED, etc.).
• Design and facilitate Professional Learning Communities for staff and faculty; lead professional learning for inclusive pedagogy.
• Oversee student affinity spaces and organize attendance at regional diversity conferences.
• Work with leadership to measure data about student/family experiences and drive progress toward DEIB goals.
• Collaborate with Carroll Family Association (CFA) to foster an inclusive parent/caregiver community with IDEA.
