Job summary

Fastenal is hiring for a Part-time Distribution Center Help Desk in Indianapolis, IN. You will provide customer service to Fastenal branches by answering general questions, tracking orders, placing orders, performing quality checks, and resolving discrepancies.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older.
• Prior administrative or customer service experience.
• Proficient written and oral communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Able to lift 25-50 lbs and may lift up to 100 lbs.
• Willing to work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate computer programs, RF scanners and printers to label product.
• Assist branches with product questions via phone, email or online support.
• Perform quality checks to verify product descriptions and quantities.
• Locate orders in the warehouse.
• Learn and understand multiple department functions.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment across departments.
