Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a part-time Customer Site Packaging associate in Indianapolis, IN. The role supports movement of product at the customer site, with shift blocks spanning mornings, mid-day, and evenings.

You will learn packaging processes and operate packaging machines while maintaining a clean, safe work area. As an entry-level position, it offers flexible scheduling after onboarding and performance milestones, with the potential for continued growth within the Fastenal distribution

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.
Proficient written and oral communication skills.
Proficient computer skills.
Able to lift, slide, carry, and lower packages up to 100 lbs.
Willingness to perform repetitive tasks and work a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

Inspecting and packaging product.
Using a computer to perform job.
Running a variety of packaging machines.
Maintain the cleanliness/organization of work area.
Complying with health, safety and sustainability rules and expectations.
Participating in activities and programs that help the company achieve health, safety and sustainability objectives.
Learning, passing, and practicing environmental health and safety trainings.
