Job summary

Fastenal Co. is hiring for a full-time Shipping role at our Indianapolis, IN distribution center. You will assist in moving products through the warehouse, label items, load trucks, and ensure accurate, safe shipping processes.

The position emphasizes teamwork, adherence to health and safety standards, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. A flexible schedule may be offered after onboarding and training.

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ years old and able to perform physical tasks.
• Proficient in written and verbal communication; basic computer skills.
• Demonstrates math aptitude, attention to detail and a sense of urgency.

Responsibilities

• Label products using RF scanners and printers.
• Inspect products for damage and document discrepancies.
• Sort products into correct locations and stack efficiently.
• Consolidate, load and unload shipments.
• Use load truck reports to locate products for outgoing shipments.
• Ensure load securement for transport and proper labeling for delivery.
• Maintain clean and organized work area and follow safety rules.
