Job summary

RED APPLE SERVICES LLC is seeking a Part-Time Day Custodian at Aventura School of Excellence in Aventura, FL. The role focuses on keeping interiors clean and safe and may require travel to nearby schools or storage facilities.

You’ll follow OSHA and safety procedures under supervision and support the Head Custodian with ongoing maintenance tasks. The position is nonexempt under FLSA with a 30-minute lunch break and on-site duties during school hours.

Qualifications

• Education -- minimum high school graduate with continuing education construction or facilities related.
• Experience -- A minimum of 1 years of janitorial trade experience.
• Special Qualifications --Must possess the above knowledge, skills, and abilities (Skills and Knowledge).
• May perform other duties assigned.

Responsibilities

• Clean assigned areas including hallways, restrooms, offices, classrooms, and multi-purpose room.
• Exterior cleaning of perimeter, parking lot, and windows; empty trash; dust FF&E and vents.
• Clean and sterilize restrooms; handle bodily messes per training; remove cafeteria waste.
• Assist with cafeteria tables, maintain cafeteria floors, and support head custodian with projects.
