Job summary

River Falls Senior Living in Fall River, MA, is seeking a reliable Line Cook to join our kitchen team. This part-time role (approximately 28 hours per week) offers a daytime schedule from 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM with every other weekend and no late-night shifts.

You will prepare and serve meals for residents, following standardized recipes and dietary requirements. Ideal candidates have prior Line Cook or similar experience and hold a current ServSafe certification.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Line Cook, Cook, Prep Cook, or in a similar kitchen position
• Current ServSafe certification
• Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and commercial kitchen equipment
• Ability to follow recipes and special diet instructions accurately
• Strong attention to detail and pride in your work
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and a strong work ethic
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook meals according to standardized recipes
• Prepare food according to special diets and dietary requirements
• Coordinate food preparation with scheduled meal times
• Ensure meals are properly prepared, portioned, and presented
• Safely operate commercial kitchen equipment
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen
• Follow food safety, sanitation, and food production standards
• Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
• Work closely with the kitchen and dining team to ensure meals are served on time
• Help provide a positive dining experience for our residents
