Job summary

WorkGenius Group in Foster City, CA, is seeking a Data Analyst – Part-Time Student Worker to support fleet analytics and operations. You will analyze telemetry, logs, and dispatch data to identify trends and actionable insights.

You will build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking using SQL and Python, collaborating with operations, engineering, product, and frontline teams to deliver reliable analytics and self-service data.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's or master's in data analytics, statistics, mathematics, CS, business analytics, or related field.
• Strong SQL proficiency with experience analyzing large datasets.
• Experience building dashboards/reports using Looker/Tableau/Power BI.
• Strong communication and documentation skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Available onsite at least 20 hours/week with a minimum three-month commitment; Python, Databricks, SQL/NoSQL, or fleet/logistics experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Analyze vehicle telemetry, service logs, dispatch data, and metrics to identify trends and insights.
• Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and KPI tracking for fleet performance and efficiency.
• Use SQL and Python to query, transform, analyze, and automate reporting across SQL and NoSQL systems.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering, product, and frontline teams to translate business needs into analytics and self-service datasets.
• Communicate data-driven recommendations and support fleet operations improvements and reporting processes.
