Placements24 seeks an experienced Remote Automotive Data Analyst and Fleet Management Specialist to optimize a large vehicle fleet. You will collect, analyze, and interpret data on usage, maintenance, fuel, and operations to influence fleet strategy.

The role focuses on dashboards, predictive maintenance, and cost optimization, with remote collaboration across a nationwide team. Strong analytics, communication, and automotive knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Analyst in automotive or fleet management.
• Proficient with Excel, SQL, Python/R, Tableau, and Power BI.
• Strong understanding of fleet management and vehicle maintenance.
• Experience with telematics data and fleet management software.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills; able to present remotely.
• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyze large datasets from telematics, maintenance logs, and fuel systems.
• Develop dashboards and reports to visualize fleet performance metrics and identify trends.
• Monitor fleet utilization, fuel efficiency, maintenance costs, and driver behavior; provide recommendations.
• Collaborate with fleet managers to implement data-driven cost reductions and efficiency gains.
• Identify risks and opportunities in fleet operations based on data analysis.
• Develop predictive models for maintenance needs and lifecycle management.
• Ensure data integrity across reporting and analytics functions.
• Stay updated on fleet management tech, telematics, and analytics advances.
• Prepare regular performance reviews and present findings to senior management.
