Job summary

Centific is seeking a Localization QA Tester for part-time work (20 hours per week) in the United States. You will execute end-to-end localization QA cycles, review translated content across media types, and ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural relevance, and UI quality.

Collaboration with localization PMs, translators, and developers will be essential to maintain high standards. Applicants should have native-language fluency, strong English skills, and experience with CAT tools such as

Qualifications

• Native-level fluency in the target localization language.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Tech-savvy and comfortable testing across tools and platforms.
• Knowledge of QA methodologies, bug tracking, and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail and clear professional communication.
• Experience with localization QA and linguistic testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute full Localization QA test cycles across platforms and OS versions.
• Review, verify, edit, and translate copy across media types.
• Validate content for tone, grammar, cultural relevance, and accuracy.
• Evaluate UI for truncation, alignment, and encoding issues.
• Report bugs clearly, retest fixes, and provide actionable feedback.
• Contribute to Style Guides and Terminology Databases.
• Collaborate with localization PMs, translators, developers, and QA teams.
• Suggest improvements to QA processes for efficiency and scalability.
