Job summary

Greater Atlanta Christian School (GACS) in Norcross, GA seeks a part-time Dance Instructor to lead ballet and contemporary classes across age groups, from Early Childhood to pre-Professional levels.

You will create and teach choreography, select music for recitals, and represent the school professionally in all settings. A Bachelor’s in Dance or equivalent teaching experience is required; Master’s is a plus. This ten-month role includes competitive salary and benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dance education or relevant teaching experience required.
• Minimum one year of dance teaching experience in diverse private settings.
• Master’s Degree is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Teach ballet, tap, and jazz to a broad range of ages.
• Create, develop, and teach choreography.
• Represent the School professionally inside and outside the classroom.
• Select music for recitals and concerts.
• Participate in rehearsals, performances, and productions.
• Ensure studio is clean and well-presented.
• Attend staff meetings and perform other duties as needed.
