Greater Atlanta Christian School in Norcross, GA is seeking a dynamic part-time Dance Instructor for students aged 5 and up. You will teach ballet, contemporary, and related genres, develop choreography, and support performances from rehearsals to stage.

The role requires teaching experience and a Bachelor’s in Dance education, with a Master’s preferred. The position emphasizes professional representation, communication with staff and families, and maintaining a well-organized studio

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Dance education or equivalent teaching experience is required.
• Minimum of one year of relevant dance teaching experience.
• Experience teaching a broad range of ages in ballet, contemporary, and related genres.

Responsibilities

• Teach ballet, contemporary, and related genres to students aged 5 and up.
• Create, develop, and teach choreography for recitals and performances.
• Represent the school professionally in and outside the classroom.
• Select music for recitals and concerts and participate in rehearsals and performances.
• Maintain studio cleanliness and assist with production as needed.
• Communicate effectively with teachers, students, and parents.
