Job summary

Greater Atlanta Christian School is seeking a dynamic part-time dance instructor to teach ballet, contemporary, tap, jazz, and hip hop to students aged 5 and up. You will develop choreography, lead performances, and participate in all rehearsals and productions in a professional school setting.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's in Dance education or related teaching experience, with at least one year of dance teaching in a private or school-based setting.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Dance education or relevant teaching experience.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant dance teaching experience.
Proficient in teaching ballet, tap, jazz; hip hop a plus.

Responsibilities

Teach ballet, contemporary, and other genres to students aged 5 and up.
Create and teach choreography for recitals and performances.
Represent the school professionally inside and outside the classroom.
Select music for recitals and concerts.
Participate in all rehearsals, performances, and technical runs.
Maintain studio cleanliness and equipment; communicate with staff, students, and parents.
