Job summary

Dollar Tree is hiring a Customer Service Associate in Jacksonville, FL. The role focuses on delivering a great shopping experience, assisting customers, and handling cash transactions with integrity.

You will maintain store cleanliness, stock levels, and safety, while providing friendly service and following company procedures. This is a part-time, store-floor position that supports daily operations and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment as per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
