Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New Mexico LLC is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Clovis to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers, process transactions, stock merchandise, unload trucks, and keep the store clean and organized.

We value strong communication, teamwork, and a positive, safe environment. The role requires the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand for long periods, with a high school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma preferred
• Retail/customer service experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required
• Strong organizational and communication skills required
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Process sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenishment
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff
• Maintain store cleanliness and restock bathrooms, sweep and mop floors, take out trash
• Other duties as assigned
