Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New Mexico LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions, complete sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks and replenish stock.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team members.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
• Other duties as assigned.
