Family Dollar Stores Of New Mexico LLC in Carrizozo, NM seeks a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer and to support store operations. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage sales transactions at the register, protect cash and assets, stock shelves, unload deliveries, and keep all areas neat and presentable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading and stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful store environment.
