Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New Mexico LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a great shopping experience for every customer.

You will assist customers with questions, manage transactions at the register, stock and stock-replenish, unload trucks, and maintain a clean, safe store environment. This role supports a fast-paced retail operation and requires strong customer service and cooperation with team members.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, and bending.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including restrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
