Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of New Mexico LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to provide a positive shopping experience at our Cloudcroft, NM location. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help maintain a clean, organized store according to company standards.

The role requires strong customer service and communication skills, physical ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and the flexibility to perform various store duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Retail or service experience preferred
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and frequent walking/standing
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with professional interactions
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash
• Other duties as assigned*
