Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC in Ottawa, OH, is seeking a Customer Service Associate II to support daily store operations, from merchandising to assisting customers. You’ll be cross-trained to manage the cash register and front-end duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving merchandise, unloading trucks, and processing freight safely.
• Merchandising and stocking as needed.
• Cleaning bathrooms and restocking; sweeping and mopping floors; taking out trash; ensuring neat and presentable areas.
• Maintaining a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Managing sales transactions at the assigned cash register and protecting company assets.
