Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Carrollton, GA is seeking a Customer Service Representative to be the face of our service team and assist customers with rentals, equipment inspection, and related services.

You will use U-Scan technology on a smartphone to manage rentals and inventory, move and hook up trucks and trailers, and ensure equipment is clean and safe. The position offers on-the-job education, potential for advancement, and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Valid driver's license with a good driving record is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred and helpful.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers inside and outside a U-Haul center with U-Haul products and services.
• Use smartphone-based U-Scan technology to manage rentals and inventory.
• Move and hook up U-Haul trucks and trailers.
• Clean and inspect equipment on the lot including checking fluid levels.
• Answer questions and educate customers regarding products and services.
• Prepare rental invoices and accept equipment returned from rental.
• Install hitches and trailer wiring.
• Fill propane and forklift operation (certification offered on employment).
• Drive a forklift (certification offered on employment).
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
