Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to perform cashiering, customer service, light housekeeping and stocking. The role involves greeting customers, processing transactions, and providing product information and recommendations.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail setting providing excellent customer service.
• Experience operating point of sale equipment.
• Ability to learn facility guidelines and standard operating procedures for handling cash.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Process checkout/returns using cash registers and card terminals.
• Assist customers in locating items and make recommendations to increase sales.
• Stock shelves and maintain neat, clean presentation.
• Answer customer inquiries by phone and provide order/status information.
• Ensure store safety and security and report concerns.
