Job summary

Southern States Cooperative is seeking a Customer Service Associate for a part-time retail role in Kentucky. You will handle cashiering, customer service, stocking, and light housekeeping while delivering friendly, helpful service to shoppers.

Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing transactions, answering phone inquiries, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean, organized selling floor. Prior retail experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Prefer high school diploma or GED but not required.
• Prefer 6 months of experience in a retail setting providing excellent customer service and operating point of sale equipment.
• Experience in agribusiness or related field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a welcoming and professional manner.
• Process checkout/exchange/return transactions utilizing cash registers and card terminals.
• Stock and face products to maintain a neat, professional presentation.
• Assist customers with locating items and answering questions.
• Answer incoming phone calls professionally and provide order status information.
• Perform daily housekeeping duties to keep the store clean and welcoming.
