Job summary

Lowe’s is seeking a Customer Service Associate to welcome customers and assist with home improvement needs. You’ll help shoppers find products, answer questions, and ensure goods are available and ready for checkout in a fast-paced retail environment.

You’ll interact with customers throughout the day, stock shelves, and may be trained in other store areas to deliver exceptional service. Reasonable physical demands apply in a dynamic setting.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer, including inputting, accessing, modifying, or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Reading, writing, and performing basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction).
• Able to perform duties that may require prolonged standing, sitting, and other activities.
• Minimally lift 25 lbs unassisted or over 25 lbs with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers to Lowe’s, answer questions, and deliver friendly and professional customer service.
• Assist customers with locating and handling merchandise.
• Down stock merchandise by looking for empty areas on shelves and replenishing supplies.
• Process orders and deliveries accurately so customers receive merchandise as expected and on time.
• Cross-functionally train in other areas of the store to help deliver the best customer service.
• Prepare merchandise in your department based on customer needs (e.g., tint and mix paint, cut and thread pipe).
• Guide customers through shopping or checkout.
• Complete other duties as assigned.
