Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Kentucky LP is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, manage transactions at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires ability to lift 30–50 lbs, stand for long periods, and maintain a friendly, professional demeanor. You will unload trucks, replenish stock, and protect store assets while delivering courteous service.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and teammates.
• Maintain cleanliness of the store, restrooms, floors, and trash areas.
• Other duties as assigned.
