Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is hiring a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, manage transactions, stock shelves, and help unload trucks in a fast-paced Alabama store.

The role requires strong customer service, organization, and communication skills, with physical tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods. Part-time position with opportunities to grow within the store network.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
