Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Alabama LLC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock shelves, unload trucks, and maintain store cleanliness in a part-time role.

The position emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and the ability to work collaboratively with store leadership. Prior retail experience is advantageous, with emphasis on safety and professionalism on the sales floor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Experience in customer service in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks in a store setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and team.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
