Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Pennsylvania LLC in Point Marion, PA is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to assist customers, process transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a safe, clean store environment as part of a collaborative team.

You should have a high school diploma or equivalent and customer service experience. You’ll lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and follow instructions while delivering excellent service to shoppers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operating documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and meet demands of standing and walking.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills required.
• Strong organization and problem-solving abilities required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while operating assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; restock as per productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neatness.
• Other duties as assigned.
