Job summary

FNB is seeking a part-time Community Advisor in Richmond to deliver exceptional customer service, guide customers to digital/self-service options, and support sales and service delivery in line with branch standards.

This 12-month hourly contract role requires a Grade 12 or higher and 1–3 years of frontline financial services experience, with strong communication and relationship-building skills. The position emphasizes accuracy, governance, and customer delight in a branch setting.

Qualifications

Minimum qualification: Grade 12 / NQF Level 4.
Preferred: NQF Level 5 Certificate in Banking, Business Administration, Customer Service, or related fields.
1–3 years of experience in customer-facing environments.

Responsibilities

Serve customers promptly and professionally, ensuring needs are understood and requests processed efficiently.
Deliver an excellent customer experience aligned to service standards.
Assist customers in migrating from traditional transactions to Self-Service and digital channels.
Grow the active customer base and engagement; identify cross-sell opportunities.
Track and report on sales and service activities to meet targets and optimize performance.
Provide accurate administration through planning, reporting, and timely information updates.
Ensure transactions and new business applications are processed within required timelines.
