Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores INC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience in East Lansing, MI. You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help keep the store stocked and clean.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail customer service experience is preferred, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs. The position supports a safe, respectful environment and offers opportunities to grow with the team.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store preferred.
• Must follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30-50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and unload trucks; restock per productivity standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe, and friendly store environment; professional interactions.
• Keep areas neat, including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
