Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Nappanee, IN is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a friendly shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, stock and maintain store cleanliness, and support unloading and replenishment as needed.

The role requires strong customer service, good communication and teamwork, ability to lift 30–50 lbs, and following store procedures. Part-time availability and a positive attitude are a must.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store experience preferred.
• Must follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Able to lift 30-50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Good problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness including restrooms, floors, and trash.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
