Job summary

Dollar Tree, Inc. is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate in Mishawaka, IN to deliver a positive shopping experience.

You will assist customers, process sales at the register, and help maintain stock levels and store cleanliness while upholding safety and friendly interactions with customers and teammates. The role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, following store procedures, and performing various duties to ensure a neat, efficient, and welcoming environment for shoppers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must lift 30–50 lbs and perform frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, etc.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and presentable store environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
