Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC in Clinton, SC is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience for every customer. Duties include assisting customers with questions and recommendations, managing sales transactions at the cash register, and maintaining store cleanliness and safety.

You’ll help restock merchandise, unload trucks, and ensure areas are neat and presentable while upholding professional and friendly interactions with customers,

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Prior customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and read operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform repetitive lifting and standing.
• Strong customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks; stock replenish per standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms and floors.
