Job summary

Becklar is hiring for part-time roles to support rapid monitoring and response for subscribers. You will process alarm signals, dispatch authorities, and assist with alarm tests while maintaining accurate documentation. The role emphasizes customer service, strong typing, and readiness to work varied shifts including weekends.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be available to work Day/Early morning shifts.
• Prior customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to type a minimum of 40 wpm.
• 24/7 operation requires you to work 1 weekend day per week or every other weekend; willing to work holidays.
• Must commit for 6 months.
• Must complete a 2-week fully-paid training class.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Process alarm signals quickly, accurately and professionally in stressful situations.
• Dispatch authorities to subscribers’ locations in emergencies and verify help is on the way.
• Assist alarm company partners with alarm system tests.
• Accurately document all alarm responses in the computer system.
• Learn and use new software to complete multiple tasks.
• Engage in ongoing training to ensure accurate alarm handling and professional growth.
