Job summary

Amentum is seeking a part-time Custodian located at Fort Gordon, Georgia. The Custodian will maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across assigned facilities, covering restrooms, floors, surfaces, and trash disposal in a secure government setting.

Responsibilities include routine cleaning per weekly plans, trash removal, replenishing restroom supplies, reporting maintenance issues, and adhering to daily task sheets and checklists.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and operational standards are met.
• Standing, walking, and moving for the full duration of the shift.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and deep-clean bathroom and kitchenette spaces daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, shampoo, and polish floors in assigned areas.
• Clean interior windows up to 7 feet high and dust surfaces.
• Remove and dispose of trash 2-3 times daily.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning supplies properly.
