Job summary

Amentum is seeking a part-time Custodian in Fort Gordon, Georgia. The role entails maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across assigned facilities within a highly secure government setting.

Responsibilities include daily restroom cleaning, floor care, trash disposal, and restocking supplies, with strict adherence to daily task sheets and facility checklists. The position is hourly and overtime-eligible under the Service Contract Act (SCA).

Qualifications

• US Citizen status is required.
• Attention to detail essential for cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to stand, bend, and lift during shifts is necessary.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning of bathrooms and kitchenette spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors per weekly plan.
• Clean under desks and in conference rooms as needed.
• Clean interior windows up to 7 feet and dust surfaces.
• Remove and dispose of trash 2–3 times daily.
• Replenish restroom supplies and monitor stock levels.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards promptly.
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning equipment properly.
