Amentum is seeking a part-time Custodian in Fort Gordon, Georgia to maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary environment across assigned facilities, including restrooms, offices, and common areas in a government setting. The role requires performing routine cleaning tasks, reporting safety hazards, and following daily task sheets while adhering to security procedures and access controls.

Candidates should have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, US citizenship, and the ability to obtain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid Driver's License.
• US Citizen.
• Ability to obtain government-issued clearance.
• Standing, walking, and moving for the full shift.
• Ability to lift and carry standard facilities equipment and full trash bins.
• Excellent attention to detail to ensure cleanliness and operational standards.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and deep-clean all bathroom and kitchenette spaces daily.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, shampoo, and polish floors in assigned areas.
• Clean and vacuum under desks, hallways, conference rooms, and open workspaces multiple times per week or upon request.
• Clean interior windows up to 7 feet high and systematically dust all other surfaces.
• Remove and dispose of trash from all areas 2-3 times daily.
• Replenish supplies throughout the restrooms in the facility.
• Monitor and report maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow safety procedures and use cleaning supplies and equipment properly.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards across assigned areas.
• Adhere strictly to provided daily task sheets and facility checklists.
