Job Summary

To clean and maintain assigned areas, buildings, facilities, and grounds within the County.

Essential Job Functions

• Perform janitorial duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, scrubbing, polishing floors, cleaning offices, restrooms, and removing trash.
• Operate cleaning equipment including vacuum cleaners, hand tools, scrubbers, electrostatic sprayers, and buffing machines.
• Track stock and prepare monthly lists of cleaning supplies needed.
• Attend training, seminars, or in-services as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 6-12 months experience in custodial environment preferred.
