Position Overview

This is a part-time position responsible for cleaning the physical structures, yard, and dock areas of the facility to ensure an attractive, clean, and safe work environment.

Essential Functions

1. Vacuum, sweep, mop, and dust the entire office area.
2. Empty trash and clean restrooms.
3. Perform general yard work, including cleaning, trash pickup, grass cutting, and garden maintenance.
4. Maintain parking areas free of trash.
5. Clean dock and dock apron.
6. Perform minor building repairs and painting as needed.
7. Change light bulbs in the office and dock areas.
8. Replace air conditioner filters.
9. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Good cleaning techniques and floor buffing skills.
• Professional interaction with customers and coworkers.
• Good organizational skills.
• Basic verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to bend, twist, squat, and operate custodial equipment throughout the shift.
• Good chemical awareness.
• Ability to follow instructions and complete required training.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Working Conditions

• Stand or walk for eight hours and perform light lifting.
• Exposure to climate conditions, chemicals, dust, and other irritants.
• Hours may vary based on operational needs.

Additional Details

Starting Rate of Pay: $17.66/hour.
