Job summary

Tessera is seeking a hardworking Janitor to support facilities at Fort Riley in Junction City, KS. This part-time role features a day shift (Mon, Wed, Fri, 8:00 am – 3:30 pm) and requires reliable transportation to Fort Riley. You will help keep front offices, bathrooms, breakrooms, and common areas clean and safe.

Typical duties include vacuuming, sanitizing, stocking supplies, and following safety procedures. A background check and E‑Verify may be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must have good customer service skills.
• Three (3) months of cleaning experience preferred.
• Must have transportation to the Fort Riley visitor center at Fort Riley.

Responsibilities

• Clean front offices: vacuum, wipe countertops, dust, sweep/mop, and trash.
• Clean bathrooms: sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, fixtures, partitions, walls, baseboards, doors.
• Restock supplies and refill dispensers; collect trash; mop floors as scheduled.
• Follow cross-contamination procedures and maintain a safe workplace.
• Clean breakrooms, locker rooms, and all office spaces as needed.
