Tessera is seeking a General Maintenance Worker at Fort Riley, KS to support skilled trades and maintain buildings, grounds and equipment. The role involves basic electrical, carpentry, plumbing or masonry tasks and collaboration with customers and supervisors to ensure repairs meet quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Assist skilled workers in performing electrical, carpentry, plumbing, or masonry work.
• Maintain and upkeep building, ground, and equipment.
• Communicate directly with customers and supervisors, informing them of unexpected or additional repairs and determining customer needs.
• Respond to customer inquiries and complaints.
• Ensure completed work meets quality control standards.
• Make diagnoses and suggest solutions and repairs to customers and supervisors.
• Communicate with scheduler to update status of repairs, estimate completion dates, and additional material requirements.
• Follow all safety procedures and policies.

Type: Non-Exempt

Work Schedule: Full-Time, Day Shift

Compensation: $20.41 per hour

Physical Requirements:

Requirements:

• Valid state driver’s license; ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera’s insurance.
• Real ID‑compliant driver’s license or acceptable alternative (U.S. passport or military ID) to access federal military installation.
• Obtain and maintain applicable security clearances and installation access.
• Pass background check and E‑Verify.
